Spring Darling: Floral Workshop & Gathering

This month, Aeipathy Studio hosted a spring floral workshop and gathering and the results were beautiful! We had 8 talented students come and try their hands at a hand-tied bouquet, as well as dyeing their own matching ribbon.

We started off with a quick introduction to natural dyes, let our ribbons soak and took a break to enjoy some snacks and coffee. After hanging the ribbons to dry, it was time for flowers!

The stars of the show were some bright and happy Icelandic poppies, along with accents of white, apricot and yellow Ranunculus. All very delicate stems for a beginner, but these ladies did a great job. We also adding in some carnations for texture, camomile and some mixed foliage.

After tying up the bouquets, we headed outside to take some photos of our final product against the lovely white brick backdrop of is 56 Grader Restaurant.
