A collaborative workshop focused on food, flowers and photography

Last month, myself and photographer Pia V Simms came together in the cosy surroundings of Motley Copenhagen to host a collaborative workshop in food styling, floral design and photography.

We had a small group that allowed for real connections to be made. Starting the morning with a little centrepiece demo arranging mini bouquets, we set the tone for creativity and play.

After florals we moved onto photography with Pia. Pia went through the basics of how to style food and take photos with a minimal need for editing. The group then played with a selection of props and tools to create some gorgeous images.

To finish things off, we added our small flowers to the table, took photos of the delicious spread prepared by Motley and finally dug in to a wonderful lunch. The group discussed issues they face as a small or independent business, and shared tips, thoughts and their passions with each other.
